Blofeld, who is bent on putting his own malevolent diamond-studded Star Wars -
type weapon into space. Directed by Goldfinger's Guy Hamiton "Diamonds" features
a number of fight scenes, including the thrashing of Bond by two acrobatic
women, Bambi and Thumper, and a battle in an ascending elevator. Bond's
commandeering of a red Mustang and a "moon buggy" in two separate scenes are
merely designed to lay waste to police cars and desert bikes.
