You Only Live Twice  (1967)

In 1967, Sean Connery announced that he'd had enough of playing 007 and that his fifth Bond "You Only Live Twice" would be his last. Consequently, an all-out effort was made to pack this one full. Advance PR on the picture stated it clearly: James Bond will die. James Bond will marry. James Bond will become Japanese. James Bond will finally meet his heretofore faceless nemesis, Ernst Stavro Blofeld.
